April is the season when many Japanese e-resource and web site providers upgrade their offerings. Attend this workshop and gain information on:
- New interface at JapanKnowledge, enabling searches across several databases
- NDL Digital Collection and Service for Information Access: Digital Collections, Kindai Digital Library and the new NDL lab
- Websites supporting Tadoku (extensive reading) clubs for students learning Japanese, with bibliographies of appropriate materials and online texts
- OSU Libraries’ subscriptions to Asahi, Yomiuri, Mainichi and Nikkei with access to 19th and 20th century content, in addition to continuing coverage
Bring your questions related to digital resources from Japan. For more information, or if the scheduled time for this workshop is not convenient, contact Maureen Donovan, Japanese Studies Librarian at email@example.com, or Amy Hwang, East Asian Studies Program Assistant at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional workshops or individual consultations can be setup by request.
