May 6th Japanese library collections open meeting
During Winter Quarter, Yuji Tosaka, a graduate student at Kent State’s library school, and I conducted an “information needs assessment” of faculty users of the Japanese collections. Now we would like to get feedback on plans to follow through on recommendations that we received. Please come on May 6th to an open meeting to discuss this and to see demonstrations of databases and other resources. We are looking forward to seeing you! We’re especially interested in hearing from graduate students (and apologize for not having time to reach out to you prior to this — we had planned to do so, but ran out of time).
Date: Friday, May 6
Time: 1:30-3:30
Place: Hagerty Rm 359
Agenda:
Comments on Japanese collections blog design
Introduction of subscription databases and other resources, especially:
PS If you cannot make the meeting, but would like to provide feedback or recommendations, please feel free to do so at any time.
