Two family-friendly events celebrating The Dog Show!

Our newest exhibit, The Dog Show: Two Centuries of Canine Cartoons opens to the public on June 19!

Celebrate with us in July with two family-friendly events. Not in Columbus? Join cartoonist Nomi Kane via Zoom to learn how to draw your dog on July 10. If you’re in town, meet us at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum for an outdoor chalk drawing event on July 11. More details below:

Join cartoonist and toy designer Nomi Kane on Saturday, July 10 at 2pm ET for a FREE hour-long Zoom workshop on how to draw your canine companions! Kane will walk the audience through the basics of dog doodling, and how to add the unique characteristics that make your dogs truly your own. Kane will show how to adjust features like snouts or ears to reflect your pooch’s personality. This workshop is meant for all ages, and children and families are encouraged to participate together! Attendees will have the opportunity to share their drawings. Have your pencils and paper ready.
