Still a ghost on the 1911 map, by 1920 the University Library commands the west side of the Oval, and the proposed stadium dominates the west side of the campus. The straightening of the Olentangy creates a new roadbed immediately beside the river. Promised land west of the river in exchange for the Stadium grounds east of the river, agricultural programs would cede the veterinary clinic, cattle building, judging pavilion and horse building to other programs over the course of the next decade.
