The University’s Athletic Board demonstrates its new clout in this 1928 map of proposed developments. New athletic buildings lay claim to the right bank of the Olentangy: north of the Stadium, a boat house and field house; south of the old animal husbandry buildings, facilities for intramural and women’s sports, a gymnasium and natatorium; at 10th Avenue, a new Armory.
