Photographed in courtyard of dwelling they occupy, which was much abused by the Austrians, who took out the doors, windows and frames and left the floors and entire house in a filthy condition"

Provenance
  • The Hine photos form part of the second collection purchased from Floyd and Marion Rinhart, who bought the set from Paul Couper. He acquired them from Ada C. Booth, widow of Capt. L.R. Booth, a member of the Allied Red Cross delegation in Europe.
