About Digital Collections
The Ohio State University Libraries’ Digital Collections is an access and preservation platform for digital primary source items from the University Libraries’ collections. New content is added frequently.
Digital Collections contain:
- Digital versions of physical materials, including but not limited to, photographs, artworks, manuscripts, audio/visual materials and ephemera
- Materials created in digital formats, such as word-processed documents or visual materials created with computer applications.
Digital Collections include a small representation of the holdings of the various collecting units of University Libraries. The collections highlight holdings of the Special Collections and other Libraries' units in our system:
- Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum
- Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center Archival Program
- Geology Library and Map Room
- Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute
- Music and Dance Library
- Ohio Public Policy Archives
