  • During the first interview on side A, Shel Dorf interviews Noel Sickles about his professional career as an artist. Topics of discussion include personal artistic style, types of professional projects, and salary negotiations. During the second interview on side A two men are interviewed about comedy motion pictures and the life and works of W.C. Dukenfield. On side B, Sickles talks about his work on the comic strip Scorchy Smith.
Description
  • Side A: Begins in the middle of the interview where side B leaves off. The speakers are muffled and difficult to understand at times. The sound of the cassette recorder wheels spinning is audible. At 9:52 the conversation ends. Conversation resumes again at 11:56. At 12:37 the audio transitions to a different conference-style interview. Audience questions are difficult to understand.
  • Side B: Interview begins 0:38. Starting at 24:57 the audio cuts out momentarily on a couple occasions but immediately comes back on.
