Description
  • After the death of his son Jake in 1996, Jeff MacNelly included his name in a number of his cartoons. Jake MacNelly was an aspiring editorial cartoonist himself and admired caricaturist Al Hershfeld, who would hide his daughter Nina's name in his cartoons. "Jake" can be seen on the truck to the right of the exhaust pipe.
