  • Side A: A man reads survey results before a Q&A panel on editorial cartoons with three men who work in newspapers. One of the men is addressed as Senator. Topics include syndication, timeliness, issues of local/national distribution, political cartoon symbols (elephant and donkey), Herblock, matters of technique (page format, etc.), and the relationship between the cartoon and articles on the editorial page. Side B: Applause, incomplete introduction of a cartoonist.
Description
  • Voices faint due to size of event being recorded; therefore, emcee's introduction of panelists is hard to hear. The tape recorder seems to be at the back of the room. Crawford asks a question at 44:00.
