- Summary
- Drawing depicts a woman wearing a bright orange ankle-length dress with a full skirt. The dress has a very low-cut bodice that is laced-up with orange laces and tightly fitted. The sleeves of the dress extend to elbow length with white ruffles and adorned with orange bows. The underskirt is a lighter orange. She wears orange heels and holds an orange fan in one hand. The woman's hair is brown and pulled back into a frilly white cap with an orange bow. The pencil drawing is reinforced with black ink and tinted with watercolor washes.
