Summary
  • Sappo: Myrtle thinks John is dead. Mr. Krust, a border, has fallen in love with Myrtle. John, in disguise, is also a border. John doesn't like that another man has fallen in love with Myrtle. He puts on a disguise and tells Myrtle he loves her. Mr. Krust hears this and tells John he is going to knock him for a long journey. Mr. Krust chases John out the door while Myrtle watches and enjoys two men fighting for her love.
  • Thimble Theatre: Ham Gravy and Castor Oyl hear about the desert spring that contains unknown minerals which cause happiness. They want to get some of the water and put it on the market but only the Indians have access to the spring. They would get rich really quick. Ham dresses up like an Indian so he can have access to the spring. He goes to meet the chief using a Chinese accent. Castor tells him to use an Indian accent, not Chinese. The chief kicks both of them out.
