  • This small envelope is not stamped. There is a photo of Byrd on the side and, within the photo, is his signature and "Best Wishes" written to the side. Handwritten in pencil on the front, someone wrote "cachet here," indicating how the envelope would be used for philatelic mail. The bottom right corner has a stamp that addresses the envelope to A. Atlas Leve in Syracuse. There are two of these envelopes.
