Description
  • These two small plates are both made out of a heavy dark metal, not the same copper material as the photo plates. They are both thickly engraved (unlike the copper plates) and each has a 1" thick wood block base. Both are in excellent condition. Note the book image from page 15 in <i>The Romance of Antarctic Adventure</i>: the American Medical Association's "Accepted" seal has small marks around it, showing where the plate's engraving was stamped/printed heavily on the top.
