Summary
  • Prince Valiant walks through the bazaar and learns there is little wealth there. The slaves are unpaid, storekeepers are taxed beyond reason and artisans work long hours. One of the shopkeepers tells him the wealthy merchants and nobles have it all but not for long ... Val tells Aleta and she talks with the storekeeper. She requests he go back and get six wise men who are leaders. She then tells Gawain and Val to go out and play.
