  • Maw Green: Maw is working on a crossword puzzle while a man reads a paper next to her. She speaks out loud trying to figure out what a female sheep is called. The man responds "Ewe." She looks at him and pushes his hat over his head.
  • Little Orphan Annie: Annie is with Shanghai who is on the mend. She asks him where Gudge really is. Just then the padre comes in. Annie tells them she has to leave so the padre can talk with Shanghai. Shanghai and the padre talk about how great Annie is and how Shanghai knew Annie a long time ago.
