  • Uncle Bill: Uncle Bill is lying in bed, tossing and turning. He can't sleep. Finally he gets to sleep just as the alarm clock goes off.
  • Bronc Peeler: The banker is waiting for the call about the cattle. Curley stops the men from directing the cattle into the canyon. He is friends with Bronc and he doesn't want to go against him. Curley falls off his horse in the middle of the stampede. Miss Jean tries to go save him but Bronc tells her to stay put and he will go. He gets Curley and rides off. The cattle start turning around from the canyon. They get Curley to the wagon. The banker gets a call from Spike that they failed.
