  • Bronc Peeler: Pete is insulting an old carpenter who is building a walkway. The carpenter is angry with Pete and decides to "show him." As Pete is getting on Nellie, the carpenter throws a board, which hits Nellie on the backside and she takes off running. She starts bucking Pete and destroying the walkway. The old carpenter decides it was worth the destruction to see Pete get the worst of it.
  • Uncle Bill: Uncle Bill comes out of the house and thinks it’s a swell day. He shovels the walk just as the snow falls from the roof. While he's walking down the street, a car drives through a puddle, making it splash on him. A man walks by him and also says it's a swell day, but Bill replies "Bah!."
