Description
- Summary
- Letter from Mascot (located in Buenos Aires) addressed to "My Dear Billie" [Mrs. Morton]. She describes the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires as the most beautiful theatre in the world. They traveled by train through frightening storms in the snowy Andes over to Santiago, Chile. There she found the city to feel very much like London, with branches of a number of large British firms. She notes that everything is very expensive, but at least she is able to find silk stockings. She also provides an update on "Steffa."
