Summary
  • An older girl with a "Join the Swell" picket sign explains her feminist cause to a younger girl. Her reasons focus on her mother treating her "like a child," e.g. not allowing her to wear high heels and get her ears pierced. After presuming her mother has taken her lipstick, her mother directs her inside the house and shows her that it is in her room with her dolls, hair ribbons, and bubble gum.
