Summary
  • There is a blue, white, and red striped border at the top and bottom of the postcard. In between these borders is a color photograph of a woman in a military jacket and army cap. She is holding a rifle against her right side and smiling. Most of her body is in view from head to knees. The background is set in the woods with bushes to the left and a tree on the right. The top banner is captioned: "I know a Girl who wants to join the Army." The card is identified at part of Series 560, Soldier & Sailor Lovers. The correspondence on the verso of the postcard is dated January 13, 1920 and postmarked Jan. 15, 1920.
