University Libraries Special Collections materials must be viewed by appointment in our Reading Rooms. The arrangements can easily be made by contacting the Special Collections Unit specified in the collection guide.
We recommend sending an email to the appropriate Unit for the Collection. Please be sure to include the Collection Number or Title, the specific material that you'd like to view, your contact information, and the date when you'd like to visit.
Making your request
Three options for making your request via email are:
- Copy and paste the relevant information as text.
- Include a screenshot image of your clipboard.
- Attach the exported file

Please be aware that frequently material are stored off site and will take some time to retrieve. Please also check for any restrictions or technical requirements that might affect your research.
