We will be upgrading WordPress tomorrow afternoon at 5pm. We expect that there will be less than one hour of downtime, during which portions of the website beginning with /blogs will be unavailable. Mujerestalk.org will also be unavailable at that time.
There will be a brief outage of the OSU Libraries website on Thursday, January 25, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. We think that the outage will be just a few minutes, but could be up to fifteen minutes long.

We will be upgrading Jira, the software that powers our Service Desk, on Thursday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During the maintenance window, Jira will be unavailable. We also ask you to hold off on creating Hub tickets during this period of time.
Archival Description Management System
These changes will require no downtime.
WordPress
This update will require downtime between 5-6pm, Thursday, September 29.
This will include the Research Commons website, the OSUL blogs, and the Digital Publishing WordPress sites.
Content Management System
Around 5pm on September 1, a patch will be applied to resolve an issue which prevents updates to the OSUL website. No noticeable downtime is expected.
This evening at 5:00pm there will be some brand new changes to the Room Reservation system. Some changes are changed specifically for Thompson Library.
A new service will be piloted at the Thompson Library this fall, offering students the ability to reserve group study rooms in Thompson on the same day. The seven rooms on the ground floor of Thompson will be incorporated into the pilot, which will run through autumn semester. Room information is available at go.osu.edu/THO. The page also provides information on the number of computers available at Thompson at any given moment.
