Application Development and Operations

Application Development and Operations helps preserve and make accessible collections for University Libraries users by deploying and maintaining the Libraries’ systems and open source software.

Application Development and Operations partners with University Libraries units and university offices to support the Libraries websites, content management systems, and digital content publishing and archiving platforms to ensure users can access the right content at the right time, now and into the future.

Digital Initiatives

Digital Initiatives supports the Libraries’ mission to foster, share, and preserve knowledge and scholarship for current and future teaching and learning.

Digital Initiatives collaborates with other IT units, content curators and creators, and other key stakeholders to conceptualize and implement a modular framework and strategy for content creation, access, discovery, collection preservation, and ongoing technology innovation.

Infrastructure Support

Infrastructure Support maintains a secure and stable technology infrastructure that enables University Libraries’ patrons to access the Libraries technology systems, applications, and resources to accomplish their goals.

In cooperation with Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of Distance Education and eLearning, and information technology departments throughout the university, Infrastructure Support facilitates the sharing and preservation of information, knowledge, and scholarship.
