Madison Good has accepted the Special Collections Reading Room Assistant position and will begin her new role on December 5.

Reporting to Rebecca Jewett, Madison will continue her duties of providing operations, business, financial and public services support, and will take on new responsibilities including acting as the Thompson Special Collections events coordinator. In this role, she will coordinate and provide support for department exhibit openings, lectures, workshops, open houses and more. She will also become the PCard manager for Thompson Special Collections and Area Studies and provide administrative support for donor relations and event awareness efforts.

Madison has worked in a staff role with Special Collections since May 2022. Previously, she worked for Special Collections as a student assistant. Madison holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors distinction in English literature with minors in professional writing and popular culture studies and is currently working toward a Master of Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University.
