On January 1, 2021, the hourly minimum wage in Ohio will increase 10 cents from $8.70 to $8.80 for all non-tipped workers. The payroll department will centrally implement the increases to all employees affected by the minimum wage change effective December 20, 2020. No supervisor action is needed to make the minimum wage increase. Please be sure to note the wage increase for budget tracking purposes as needed.
