Each year, the Faculty Recognition Program, sponsored by the Faculty Club, the Office of Academic Affairs and University Libraries, acknowledges all Ohio State University faculty who were recently granted promotion and/or tenure. Regular and clinical faculty from all Ohio State campuses are honored.
Faculty honorees have the opportunity to select a book from the University Libraries collection to be book-plated in their honor in recognition of their accomplishments. Honorees are also invited to include a statement about why the book was significant for them.

Faculty members who were promoted and/or tenured in 2024 will be recognized at a reception in early 2025 at the Faculty Club. Additional details regarding the event and the book selection process will be emailed directly to honorees. The reception is open to the public. No RSVP required.
