Recognized student organizations in good standing with the university may reserve the rooms below for up to two hours at no charge. Requests must be submitted online at least one week in advance using the Student Organization Room Reservation Form.
Additional information regarding student organization reservations:
- Student organizations must be listed as Active/Pending on the Ohio Union website.
- Small group meetings (10 or less attendees) should use the Group Study Room options.
- Use of the room must be for academic purposes and not social functions.
- Meetings held in University Libraries must not disturb normal Library operations. University Libraries reserves the right to disallow or stop events that are disruptive to normal library operations.
- Rooms must be used as-is. Reservations include use of the existing furniture in the room, furniture cannot be rearranged, and additional furniture cannot be brought into the room.
- Only one reservation (and one room) per week is allowed.
- Reservations may only be made for the current semester.
- Recurring reservations may only be made one month in advance.
- Rooms cannot be reserved the week before or during finals week.
- Requests for use of the Multipurpose Room (165) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- The Buckeye Reading Room (260) and Campus Reading Room (1120) are not available at “no charge.” They are available to rent at the University Department rate.
- Exceptions will not be made to these policies.

- Research Commons Spaces: Graduate Student Organizations Only may reserve Classroom (352) for up to two hours at no charge during regular business hours. Email researchcommons@osu.edu for these requests.
