Sessions are intended to help investigators, research staff, students and their faculty advisors identify complex procurement issues and develop a plan that meets their procurement needs. It’s recommended to set up a consultation early in the proposal/award process, but consultations are available and beneficial at any point during the award lifecycle:
- Prior to proposal submission
- Prior to/during award setup
- Post-award Researchers can get assistance with:
- Developing procurement/acquisition plans
- Identifying subawards vs. purchase order agreements
- Assistance with federal contract requirements such as small business subcontracting plans and/or acquisition plans
- Assistance with complex procurements, including:
- Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) funded purchases
- RFx for competitive procurements i.e. Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Request for Bid (RFB)
- Noncompetitive procurements
- Purchases over the simplified acquisition threshold of $250K
- Construction projects
