Free Data Viz Tools Series: Data Visualization Demo Using RAWGraphs
April 1 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
In this third installment of the free data viz tools series, we take a look at RAWGraphs, a free, web-based data visualization tool that aims to bridge the gap between spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel and vector-based tools like Adobe Illustrator. This demonstration will introduce attendees to this versatile tool, including the different advanced charts and graphs that can be created within it (cluster dendrograms, circle packing, alluvial diagrams and more). Attendees will learn how to create, design and export visualizations in both vector (SVG) and raster (PNG) images to scale for their own presentations or websites. We will also tap into the rich gallery of user-created RAWGraphs visualizations to get inspired, and learn about other resources including tutorials and more advanced documentation.
Who: Ohio State faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students
