Consulting and Education

Consulting

We are pleased to offer consultation office hours in the Research Commons from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesdays, year-round. Appointments can be previously scheduled or walk-ins. To schedule appointments or to check to see if we are free please visit the Research Commons consultation page and select Publishing and Repository Services from the drop-down menu.

We are happy to talk with you about our publishing services, or to consult with members of the OSU community on their publishing projects. We can help you think through the process of starting a journal or other publication, and can provide information on open access, copyright and authors' rights, and digital and new-model publishing.

If you have a specific topic or project in mind, please schedule an appointment and include any pertinent information so that we are best able to answer any questions you might have. If you are thinking of starting a journal it may be helpful to look at our journal application form and journal policies before the appointment.

If your schedule prevents you attending our office hours please email walsh.260@osu.edu to schedule a meeting.
