Beth Kattelman is a Professor and Curator of The Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute (TRI) where she is responsible for acquiring, maintaining and providing access to materials held in the TRI. Beth regularly provides research consultations in areas of performing arts, puppetry, horror entertainments, film, queer theory, and LGBTQ resources. She also holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Theatre where she teaches research methods, directs, and regularly advises students. Beth holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from The Ohio State University and a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University. She is active within the local theatre community, and has worked with several Central Ohio theatre companies as a director, performer, and puppetry consultant.
