Jennifer Henman is the bindery preparation supervisor. She works under the direction of the Head of Conservation. Jennifer manages the commercial library binding operation for the Libraries, including the online binding records database. She serves as the primary liaison with the university’s contract vendor/binder, with IT department, and with other library bindery preparation units, including Law and Health Sciences. She maintains data and spreadsheets for binder production and invoices. She reviews for accuracy and approves vendor invoices. She evaluates and prepares materials for binding. Jennifer works closely with bindery clerks throughout the library system and with personnel from other Preservation and Technical Services Units throughout the U.S. if needed.
