About OPPA

Established in 2004, the Ohio Public Policy Archives is a collaborative effort of The Ohio State University Libraries and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs

The goal of the Ohio Public Policy Archives is to make available for research and educational use unique and historical materials documenting the workings and history of the U.S. Congress, the participation and contributions of Ohio members, and the impact of the U.S. Congress on the State of Ohio.

The Ohio Public Policy Archives currently holds the following collections:

John H. Glenn Archives
Glenn (D - Ohio) served in the U.S. Senate from 1975 to 1999.

Mary Jo Kilroy Papers
Kilroy (D - Upper Arlington) served the 15th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2010.

Donald E. Lukens Papers
Lukens (R- Middletown) served the 24th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1967 to 1971 and the 8th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987-1990.

William M. McCulloch Papers
McCulloch (R - Piqua) served the 4th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1973.

Deborah D. Pryce Papers
Pryce (R - Upper Arlington) served the 15th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1993 to 2009.

Ralph S. Regula Papers
Regula (R - Navarre) served the 16th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1973 to 2009.

William B. Saxbe Papers
Saxbe (R- Ohio) served in the U.S. Senate from 1968 to1974.

Patrick J. Tiberi Papers (Open for research in 2023)
Tiberi (R-Columbus) served the 12th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2001-2018.

Milton A. Wolf Papers
Wolf, a Cleveland businessman, served as ambassador to Austria from 1977 to 1980 and was a close associate of John Glenn and former Ohio Governor Richard Celeste.

Chalmers P. Wylie Papers
Wylie (R - Ohio) served the 15th Ohio District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1967 to 1993 and the 25th District in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1961 to 1967.
