University Libraries Announces Sheila Craft-Morgan as Research Impact Librarian

Sheila Craft-Morgan is joining the faculty of University Libraries as the Research Impact Librarian. Her appointment begins on August 1. In this role, she will lead the development of systematic, scalable approaches that support scholarly research impact within the research lifecycle. Sheila will also support faculty, staff and students in managing, communicating and promoting the impact of their research projects. Sheila’s office will be located in the 18th Avenue Library, room 490 B, and she will report to the Head of Research Services.

Sheila completed her Bachelor of Arts in English at The Ohio State University. She received her J.D. from Capital University Law School and her MLS from Kent State University. She has more than 20 years of experience in institutional research and expertise in data analysis and visualization. Sheila most recently served as a Senior Resource Planning Analyst with Ohio State’s Office of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence.
