Participants in Libraries’ survey also help support Pelotonia

University Libraries, along with the Health Sciences Library, is administering the Ithaka S+R Faculty, Graduate, and Undergraduate student surveys through February 18, 2018.

Vice Provost and Director of University Libraries Damon Jaggars said that the university community’s perspectives on a wide range of topics will help shape the future of the services the Libraries offer.

“We want to know how our users engage with and perceive the Libraries,” Jaggars said. “And we’re very pleased to be able to contribute toward Pelotonia on behalf of the first 2,000 individuals who complete the survey.”

The Libraries will be donating $1 for each completed survey, up to a total of $2,000, toward Pelotonia . Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. Pelotonia is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism. Through its first eight rides, Pelotonia raised more than $130 million for cancer research.

All university faculty will receive an invitation to participate in the survey. In addition, a select sample of 20,000 graduate and undergraduate students are being asked to complete the survey as well.
