Meet Monica Harmat, a junior majoring in Chemistry with a minor in History of Art. Monica combines her passion for science and art in her work as a student assistant conservator with University Libraries.
We asked Monica how working with University Libraries has made an impact on her. Here's what she shared, "Working with University Libraries has provided me with the opportunity to translate my academic studies into meaningful preparations for my future career while bolstering my education. As a student assistant conservator, I am not only implementing my studies of organic and inorganic chemistry to the preservation and maintenance of cultural heritage, but additionally I am actively advancing towards my goal of becoming an art conservator.
