The items are held by the Ohio State University Libraries, but the Libraries makes no claim of any rights in them beyond ownership of the physical copy.  Some items are in the public domain; others are protected by copyright. The copyright-protected items have been included in this exhibit under the doctrine of Fair Use, an exception outlined in Section 107 of United States Copyright Law.
