About Columbus Ohio

Columbus, the 14th largest city in the United States as well as the largest and fastest-growing city in Ohio, is a smart and open community with a dynamic convention package that can fit the needs of any group. Located within a one-day drive or one-hour flight from more than half of the U.S. population, Columbus is easily accessible for all.

There's an energy and excitement in Columbus that's going to hit you as soon as you arrive. Big things are happening here, and you're invited to join in. The city is booming, and not just in population. Through a unique and groundbreaking relationship with the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, now has a permanent Dinosaur Gallery. A 36,000-sq.-ft. LEGOLAND Discovery Center opened in September 2018 at Easton and the new National Veterans Memorial and Museum opened in October. The capital city’s incredible culinary scene features top-ranked chefs, a rich farm-to-table movement, one-of-a-kind restaurants and creative artisan desserts, beers, wines and spirits. Nationally acclaimed distilleries work together with brewers, coffee roasters and high-end cocktail bars, black box stages, music halls and dive bars to deliver unforgettable nightlife. Neighborhoods on all sides of downtown are bursting with new places to eat and shop, and artists are shaping new areas of the city into dynamic spaces to explore.
