Teaching with Us

Hilandar Research Library (HRL) collections offer opportunities to see, read, analyze and handle primary sources, those unique or rare objects that bring color, context, definition, insights, and enhanced meaning to classroom discussions.

Teaching with primary sources provides students the opportunity to use analytical and critical thinking skills, to engage with historical artifacts, to take an active role in learning, and to recognize that sources can be used to support differing interpretations that reflect diverse perspectives.

See Class Visits and Curatorial Support.
