British Library: Selected Manuscripts on Microfilm

The Hilandar Research Library obtained microfilms of 16 Slavic Cyrillic manuscripts, two Greek manuscripts, and one English charter in an exchange of materials with the British Library, London, in 1993. The Slavic manuscripts are described in Ralph Cleminson's A Union Catalogue of Cyrillic Manuscripts in British and Irish Collections/The Anne Pennington Catalogue (London: School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University of London, 1988). Abbreviated descriptions of some of the items are available on the British Library website, and links to these descriptions are also provided below.

These manuscripts on microfilm may be viewed on site in the Jack and Jan Creighton Reading Room of the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library on the campus of The Ohio State University. Permission to make copies from the films must be obtained from the British Library.
