The Ohio State University Women's Recreation Association was the successor to the Women's Athletic Association, which was established in April 1916 as a support to the Women's Division of the Department of Physical Education.
The Ohio State University, Women's Recreation Association Records contain Pomerene Playbacks newsletters and WRA booklets outlining the recreation schedules, rules, and activity descriptions for the year.
