The Ohio Academy of Science was organized in 1891 by various stakeholders, including the Ohio State University Biology Club and the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station. It published various reports and research papers on scientific topics, and starting in 1903, the publication
The Ohio Journal of Science Records contain several issues of the journal from 1943-1980. The issues contain the annual reports of the Ohio Academy of Science, and consist of abstracts and full research papers dealing with science research either completed in Ohio or that had an impact on Ohio. It also contains other publications from the Ohio Journal of Science; materials date from 1918 to 1980.
