This series contains two big gulp plastic cups- 25th Anniversary Cups. The cup reads 'The 1968 OSU Football team.' Cup design is scores of each game, four images (Coach Hayes, Rex Kern, Jim Stillwagon, and Jack Tatum), 25th Anniversary emblem, and title, 'OSU Football Greats.'

This series contains the Varsity "O" letter sweater of Robert Ries, the manager of the OSU baseball team from 1940 to 1941.

This series contains china plates, limited edition, with each having the name of an Ohio State University building on the back. Each are signed (stamped) by George Rightmire.

This series contains two silver plates given to Judith Hill. The first is engraved "Mack Hall 1969" and was given to council members for 1968-1969. The second is engraved "J. E. H. Mack Hall '70" and was given to Hill as president of Mack Hall for 1969-1970.

This series contains Orton Hall roof tiles removed during the renovation of the roof. Where each tile was located on the roof is identified by tags attached to the tiles.

This series contains an Ohio State class ring with a red stone. The University Seal and University Hall are engraved on the sides. Belonged to Fred Richard Zupancic, who graduated in 1966 and 1968.

Two hoods originally owned by Edith Cockins, OSU’s first registrar. The larger hood is likely the one given to Cockins when she received an honorary doctoral degree in 1941. The smaller one has her initials sewn into the inside and may be a hood she wore when she earned her bachelor's degree in 1894. Also included is a doctoral hood worn by Robert Emerson Potts.

This series contains two items. One is a sign taken from Smith Laboratory that was posted during for the two-week campus closure in May 1970. The sign warns readers that only "those with necessary and legitimate business may enter" and failure to obey the order could lead to arrest or penalty. The second item is a billy club that may have come from the student demonstrations on campus in 1970.

This series contains scores of songs used in football games.

This series contains two Ohio State University alternative student newspapers issues.

This series contains an oversized, framed architectural drawing of the Ohio State University golf course made by Alister MacKenzie in January 1931. The drawing depicts MacKenzie's original conception of the 36-hole layout for the Ohio State University golf courses. The drawing represents one of the last pieces of golf architecture which MacKenzie completed, according to the plaque on the bottom of the frame.

This series contains prints of watercolors of campus scenes, with at least one by Indiana artist James McBride. Other artists are not identified.

This series contains tennis shoes worn by OSU student Avery Kaminsky to the 2015 Mirror Lake Jump. University officials banned future events after this jump since a student was accidentally killed during the event. (See Mirror Lake subject file in reference room.)

The packet includes a head-and-shoulders photo of Jesse Owens and an aerial photo of the end of the 100-yard dash, in which Owens won a gold medal. Wooden gavel designed and hand-crafted in 1970 by Joseph Kerchner, Ohio State’s superintendent of construction maintenance at the time. The gavel, which was made out of pieces of the original University Hall, is a prototype of a subsequent version that was given that year to then-U.S. President Richard M. Nixon as part of a package of gifts commemorating the University’s centennial anniversary. Included with the gavel is a wooden stand on which it sits, and that contains a plaque in the shape of Ohio related to the presentation to Nixon. Also included is associated documentation chronicling the process.
