As of 2018, Phi Upsilon Omicron is a national honor society for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of family and consumer sciences. Alumni chapters are composed of alumni and honorary members of the society. Their primary role is to provide support to nearby collegiate chapters of Phi Upsilon Omicron. The Gamma Alumni Chapter is the alumni chapter associated with Ohio State University.
