Historical Note
The Torch Club of Columbus, founded in 1936, is a member of the International Association of Torch Clubs. Following a dinner, Torch Club chapter members listen to professionals and academics give presentations on a variety of topics. These presentations are candidates for publication in the newsletter,
The Torch. The Columbus chapter of the Torch Club remains active as of 2018, hosting meetings and presentations at the Ohio State University.
Scope and Contents
The Torch Club of Columbus Records contains constitutions, bylaws, correspondence, reports, newsletters, and other administrative records, as well as recordings of presentations hosted by the organization. Materials are dated 1926-2016.
