Historical Note

The Interprofessional Commission of Ohio is a non-profit program that collaborates with individuals in nine human service professions: allied medical professions, education, human ecology, law, medicine and public health, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and theology. The organization was formed in 1973, and continues to serve the greater Columbus area as of 2017. In 2008, the Interprofessional Commission of Ohio offered pre-service education to both undergraduate and graduate students attending Ohio State, afterschool assistance to urban schools, and training in violence prevention for women. The organization is funded by the professional colleges at Ohio State University, the Theological Consortium of Greater Columbus, and other government programs.

The Interprofessional Commission of Ohio Records contains video recordings of programs as well as some administrative records related to programs. The materials are dated 1978-2004.
