 Historical Note

As of 2018, the Academic Advising Association of The Ohio State University (ACADAOS), is a professional development organization for academic advisors at Ohio State University. ACADAOS was founded in 1991 and has worked with the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) since 1994. In 1995, it was recognized as an official University organization by the Provost. ACADAOS offers a method of networking for all academic advisors and representation of their profession at Ohio State University. In addition to professional development activities, ACADOS also provides its members access to grants, publications, and social events.
