The College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Human Ecology Retirees Association began in the 1960s as informal retiree luncheons with members from the Ohio State University Extension Service. In the 1970s, the group expanded to include retirees from additional colleges. The association's bylaws were written in 1988. They sponsor speeches and a forum for retirees.
