The Men's Physical Education Association (MPEA) was formed in November 1937, and was active through at least 1961; its purpose was to build closer social and professional relationships among physical education students, and to promote a better understanding of physical education as a profession. They also published a bimonthly bulletin that was distributed to students enrolled in physical education majors or minors. The MPEA was open to undergraduate male students working on physical education majors or minors.
The Ohio State University, Men's Physical Education Association Records contain administrative records, copies of the group's bimonthly bulletin, and copies of song lyrics; materials date from 1937 to 1958.
